  Not at all impressed with these people at all! I took a joey I rescued from a dead Kangaroo near Mount Magnet at 6am this morning to check out its injuries which I could see was minor ( a bit of skin missing from his tail and foot, otherwise very strong and healthy). I was told the vet was busy and would check him out and they would call me when I could come to collect him. They called me and said his injuries were superficial, had been dressed and they were sending him to a registered carer. I told them I had organised carers and they said I could not have him back because I was not a registered carer (not that they even asked me if I was). What riles me is that at no time while I was in their waiting room did they say I could not have him. If they had I would have simply purchased products to care for him as I have done with 20 other Joeys and walked out. I would never have left him. Very bad form and I will never bring another rescue baby to them. In future I will carry all the items I require fir rescues....
